Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of authentic South Indian dishes (breakfast, lunch, and dinner items).

  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion size.

  • Plan menus and introduce new dishes based on customer preferences.

  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per food safety regulations.

  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimize wastage.

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff when required.

  • Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a South Indian Chef or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.

  • Ability to prepare dishes from different regions (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra).

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good time management and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in restaurants, catering services, or hotels.

  • Knowledge of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian South Indian dishes.
