Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food, excellent technical skills, and the ability to run a specific kitchen section with consistency and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry).
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure mise en place is prepared and organized for smooth service.
- Train and supervise Commis and junior staff in the section.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor stock levels in your section, assist in ordering, and minimize food wastage.
- Uphold consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage a section efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Food Safety & Hygiene Certification is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
