Responsibilities
- Assist Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Junior Sous Chef during service to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes
- Maintain dish quality by ensuring presentation, taste, texture, and portion sizes meet company standards
- Verify ingredient accuracy by using specified ingredients to uphold consistent food quality
- Manage and maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, assuming overall responsibility for its readiness
- Communicate with team members to identify and address section improvements or challenges
- Inspect all dishes prepared and presented in your section to ensure compliance with company standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and strong motivation to excel
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
- Immediate availability
