Job Description

Our client is a luxury 5-star city-centre hotel in Singapore, delivering exceptional hospitality and service excellence to discerning guests in a vibrant urban setting. The Chef Concierge leads the concierge team to deliver seamless guest services, manage VIP and limousine operations, and uphold high service standards to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate sufficient staffing daily to meet operational demands and maintain service quality
  • Plan and coordinate VIP and limousine movements for arrivals and departures to ensure smooth operations
  • Oversee Lobby Greeter duties during peak check-in/out periods and major events to maintain lobby efficiency
  • Resolve guest issues promptly to uphold guest satisfaction and service excellence
  • Manage limousine bookings, assign jobs, handle billing, and forecast limousine revenue to optimize service delivery
  • Develop and review staff rosters to meet productivity targets and operational needs
  • Enforce LQA service standards consistently across all concierge operations
  • Conduct audit checks on colleagues service standards to ensure compliance with hotel policies
  • Maintain visible presence in Lobby and Driveway areas to monitor operations and assist guests as needed
  • Deliver professional, engaging, and friendly service to all guests at all times
  • Actively participate in the Singapore Society of the Golden Keys to uphold industry standards
  • Plan, review, train, monitor, evaluate, and counsel concierge employees to enhance team performance
  • Investigate and handle guest requests and complaints thoroughly and efficiently
  • Ensure grooming standards set by the hotel are consistently maintained by all team members
  • Maintain adequate stock levels and accurate inventory records for work areas, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness
  • Utilize communication tools and equipment effectively to improve workflow productivity
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety and security procedures within the department at all times
  • Manage telephone enquiries and requests, ensuring timely completion of pick-up and delivery services

Required competencies and certifications

  • Membership in Les Clefs d'Or (Society of Golden Keys, Singapore)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar concierge leadership role
  • Proficient knowledge of Opera system and related sub-systems interfaced with PABX and hotel computer systems
  • Friendly and engaging service attitude essential for guest interaction
  • Strong guest relations skills with confident and clear English communication
  • Ability to build partnerships with other departments to promptly address guest needs
  • Effective interpersonal skills to manage guest and colleague interactions
