Join us to work alongside UBS Asset Management's local and global marketing team and sales ‎colleagues in APAC. ‎

We're looking for someone to work with the APAC Head of Marketing to provide marketing ‎coverage for the wholesale, wealth management and ‎institutional businesses. ‎

Your duties include handling:

  • client content & communication including developing newsletters and sales materials ‎
  • digital content for thematic webpages and social media
  • execute above-the-line campaigns and media buying
  • website transition projects (including fund prices) ‎and digital content management
  • events management and speaker logistics for proprietary and external conferences ‎
  • expense and budget tracking
  • activity reporting ‎
  • vendor management

Your team

Work with the Head of APAC Channel Marketing to implement regional marketing agendas, which include integrated campaigns across content, paid media, digital, events, sponsorships, and One-Bank initiatives. This role requires strong stakeholder management and partnership, governance, and processes, commercially minded execution and metrics across multi-channel and client segments.

  • Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute well thought-out, impactful, quantifiable lead-generation and client-retention campaigns leveraging a range of digital, media and in-person channels for a cohesive local and multi-market campaigns across all client segments
  • Brand: Ensure key brand value proposition are incorporated in all marketing activities
  • Distribution: Partner with Client Relationship teams to design and execute high impact marketing programs that achieve acquisition, retention, and revenue goals
  • Digital: Develop email campaigns, manage the websites including website governance and digitisation of client experience and touchpoints
  • Events: Work with Channel Marketing Leads on the development and execution of proprietary events, webinars, industry events, and one-bank initiatives including vendor management, venue sourcing, invitation and registration workflows, and onsite support to amplify priority campaigns
  • Media: Partner with Media Relations on relevant opportunities and awards that showcase products and capabilities
  • Risk and Compliance: Coordinate with Compliance and Risk functions to ensure marketing activities and materials are rolled out in adherence to risk, compliancy guidelines, and policies, and meet regulatory requirements across markets
  • Vendor Management: Manage external vendors such as agency and media partners, event agencies and production houses for quality, timeliness, and cost control
  • Business process enhancements: Use a data-driven and iterative approach to optimise marketing tactics and reporting against KPIs
  • Partnership and collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation

Your expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
  • 6 or more years in a similar or related role with previous experience in asset management within APAC; exposure to wholesale and institutional segments, strong understanding of Singapore and Hong Kong markets, and knowledge of other markets in APAC (including Japan) is advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry clients, products, regulations, and competitors
  • Demonstrated successful partnership with client facing teams to acquire and retain clients/assets via integrated marketing programs and measurable outcomes
  • Articulate and able to present investment views in a thoughtful and well-reasoned manner; synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story with good marketing flair
  • Experience managing translations, advertising agencies, and production houses; adept at editorial, design, and content workflows
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organisational skills; ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines
  • Resilient and flexible and demonstrable track record of working effectively across local, regional, and global matrix and complex organisation with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement, self-motivated with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, comfortable working independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese ideally (Mandarin and Cantonese; Traditional and Simplified). Korean or Japanese language proficiency is advantageous given market coverage.
