What You'll Do
Support the Channel Marketing Manager to drive the business forward and develop the most effective strategies and to implement the most efficient consumer & trade promotions and activities. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders especially the Sales teams, to develop the appropriate plans to support the business and execute with excellence.
- Work closely with respective Sales Managers to obtain alignment on Channel Marketing Plan & Calendar as well as activities and promotions.
- Formulate initiatives for assigned channels/customers; plan, organize and implement consumer & trade promotions as well as marketing activities such as sampling programs and customer activation opportunities.
- Source for premiums & prizes for promotions as well as develop & produce supporting collaterals in collaboration with Market Planning team.
- Track & monitor in-store activation of promotions, POSM, equipment placement, marketing activities & new launches.
- Conduct post-promotion analysis to identify and understand what works and didn't work.
- Track & monitor spend to ensure expenditure is within budget.
- Track & analyze business & brand performance for each channel & major retailers/trade customers. Identify opportunities and develop & implement plans to capitalize on them. Develop & implement corrective actions if necessary to ensure objectives & targets are on track.
- Track, monitor and share competitors activities in each channel and ascertain possible impact on our business. To recommend corrective actions if needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business / marketing or relevant field.
- 2-3 years of brand management experience or trade marketing/sales experience in the FMCG sector.
- Ability to develop & implement strategies & channel plans.
- Independently manage consumer and trade promotions & activities development, planning, organizing, execution and evaluation.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with ability to work cooperatively with different functions & departments.
- Good project management skills with meticulous follow-up.
