Role Description The Certified Personal Trainer role at Anytime Fitness Singapore is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The trainer will design and deliver safe, effective, and engaging one-on-one and small group training sessions tailored to members fitness levels, goals, and health backgrounds. Day-to-day tasks include conducting fitness assessments, creating personalized training programs, providing ongoing coaching and motivation, and monitoring member progress. The trainer will educate members on proper exercise techniques, basic nutrition principles, and healthy lifestyle habits, while maintaining a clean and organized training area. The role also involves collaborating with club staff to support member retention, participating in member events, and promoting a positive, inclusive gym culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, with the ability to design and deliver customized workout programs.
- Proficiency in Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to support diverse training styles and group sessions.
- Working knowledge of Nutrition to provide basic guidance on healthy eating habits that complement training plans.
- Current certification as a Personal Trainer from a recognized body (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support members of varying fitness levels.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet member and club needs.
- Experience in a commercial gym or fitness facility is preferred; first aid and CPR certification are an advantage.
