We are appointing a Centre Principal to assume full operational command of a boutique international preschool during a structured leadership transition.
This is a replacement appointment with a defined overlap period. The incoming Principal will work alongside the current Principal to ensure continuity, regulatory stability, and sustained trust with parents and staff.
The incoming Principal must establish immediate trust and visible leadership presence with both parents and teachers to ensure transition stability.
This is not a developmental or first-time leadership role.
The successful candidate must independently command daily centre operations, build strong parent confidence from the outset, and anchor the school community with clarity and composure.

. Approximately 80+ enrolled students
. Team of 15-20 teaching staff
. ECDA-licensed Singapore preschool
. Predominantly international parent community
. Growing school with strong institutional foundation and entrepreneurial energy
Key Responsibilities
. Full operational oversight of centre and staff
. Leadership of approximately 16 teaching team members
. Parent partnership and stakeholder relationship management
. ECDA regulatory compliance and documentation standards
. Oversight of curriculum delivery and programme quality
. Maintaining stability during leadership transition
. Driving operational discipline and team performance
You will operate with significant autonomy while partnering directly with the Founder on long-term positioning and centre growth.
Leadership Profile
You have previously:
. Held full or near-full operational oversight of a licensed preschool of comparable scale
. Led a team of at least 15 teaching staff
. Managed parent communication in a high-expectation environment
. Overseen ECDA audits and centre compliance
. Operated effectively without daily supervision
. Demonstrated grounding in play-based or inquiry-led pedagogy
Experience engaging international or expatriate parent communities will be viewed favourably.
This role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is limited to curriculum-only or assistant-level leadership.
Mandatory Requirements
. ECDA-recognised Centre Leader eligibility (e.g. ADECL / DECCE-L or equivalent)
. ECDA-certified L2 status
. Minimum 5 years of preschool experience, including centre-level leadership exposure
. Demonstrated operational leadership experience in Singapore
Compensation & Benefits
. Salary: $7,000 - $9,000 per month, aligned to leadership experience and operational scope
