About The Role
As the Central Commercial Marketing Manager for Asia, you will serve as a strategic architect of regional growth. Your mission is to bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and tactical execution, driving profitability through sophisticated pricing models, rigorous negotiation, and cross-functional leadership within the semiconductor ecosystem.
What You Will Do
Strategic Optimization & Analysis
- Drive Profitability: Lead regional initiatives to enhance pricing structures, capture market share, and maximize bottom-line margins.
- Advanced Modeling: Develop and implement scientific pricing models and data-driven simulations to underpin tactical and strategic commercial scenarios.
- Commercial Strategy: Define and propose strategic directions for non-pricing commercial levers to gain a competitive edge.
- Business Intelligence: Architect and deploy advanced reporting frameworks to empower commercial marketing and quoting centers.
Commercial Execution & Negotiation
- Regional Negotiations: Spearhead complex RFQ negotiations with major OEM and EMS partners across the Asia region.
- Pricing Governance: Communicate and execute Pricing Board mandates across Business Groups (BGs) and Global Sales Management (GSM).
- Operational Excellence: Streamline and optimize end-to-end pricing and quoting workflows to increase organizational agility.
- Data Integrity: Maintain rigorous oversight of OEM contract pricing, customer master data, and order books to ensure seamless fulfillment and revenue recognition.
Stakeholder & Market Ecosystem Management
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with key distributors to align regional goals.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate with Finance, Sales, R&D, and Product Management to resolve price discrepancies and challenge cost-driver assumptions.
- Market Insight: Act as a regional intelligence hub, gathering and disseminating critical competitor movements and market trends
What You Will Need
Experience & Education
- Academic Background: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years of proven success in Marketing, Sales Ops, or Pricingspecifically within the semiconductor or electronic distribution sectors.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep fluency in semiconductor business processes and the unique dynamics of the Asian distribution landscape.
Technical & Behavioural Competencies
- Data Mastery: Expert-level Excel proficiency (complex data manipulation, pivot tables, and advanced visualization) to turn raw data into actionable stories.
- Commercial Acumen: A rare blend of financial savviness and the technical ability to challenge R&D and Operations on cost structures.
- Decisive Communication: The ability to navigate complex decisions into clear, concise proposals and the professional courage to defend no when strategic boundaries are tested.
- Agility: A high-velocity thinker who maintains meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
