Our client is seeking a strategic, proactive, and customer-focused Shopping Mall Centre Manager with strong analytical skills to oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of a premier shopping mall. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in retail centre management + 5-7 years of retail leasing/operations experience with a proven track record in leasing, tenant mix strategy, and mall operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of the portfolio, ensuring optimal functionality and tenant satisfaction.
- Manage leasing strategies, focusing on securing unique and high-value tenants to enhance the malls positioning.
- Develop and execute marketing, PR, and branding initiatives to attract target consumer markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Conduct regular tenant engagement sessions to review business performance and explore expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with management teams on mall repositioning, redevelopment, and tenancy mix optimization.
- Work closely with the Asset Management team on financial feasibility and investment reviews.
- Ensure smooth execution of redevelopment projects to achieve desired market positioning.
Candidate Profile:
- Around 7-10 years of experience in retail centre management, followed by 3-5 years of experience in retail centre management, with exposure to large-scale and notable projects.
- Strong background in leasing, tenant mix strategy, or mall operations, facilities/engineering strong requirement.
- Proven ability to handle unique and high-end retail tenants.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Background from Leasing/Operations/Engineering
Must have Experience:
- Candidates who have worked on iconic retail developments.
- Background in either leasing (deal-making, tenant acquisition) or engineering/operations.
