CEMENT TRUCK DRIVER cum CUBEMAN (BATCHING PLANT)

1) Drives truck equipped with auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.(Mixer Truck)

2)Drives truck under loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water and starts mixer.

3) Drives truck to location for unloading. .

4) Moves levers on truck to release concrete down truck chute into wheelbarrow or other conveying container or directly into area to be poured with concrete.

5) Cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck, using water hose and hoe.

6) May spray surfaces of truck with protective compound to prevent adhering of concrete.

7) May assemble cement chute

8) To transport materials using company vehicle and other duties that may be assigned to you. (Tipper Truck) if needed.

9) To carry out routine maintenance of company vehicle ensuring that it is always in good working condition.

10) Under the Workplace Safety & Health Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe by following safety and health procedures reporting unsafe acts and incidents and not tampering with safety devices or performing willful/reckless acts.

11) Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.

12) Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions. (sand, cement, dust, soil)

13) Able to work at staggered hours at times.

14) Location of work in concrete batching plant to produce cubes everyday for quality control purposes

15) Testing of concrete cubes housekeeping/ cleaning lab

16) Provide feedback on issues related to quality

17) To perform slump test at site

18) To cast cube at construction site and open cube moulds at sites.

Job Requirements:

a. At least 5 years of experience in construction related field.

b. Possess Singapore driving license.

c. Familiar with Singapore roads.

d. Must have a clean record in driving.

e. Must have construction supervisor safety course cert

f. Must be physcially fit to carry physical loads between 15kg-20kg at a time
