Role Overview: The role is responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans for assigned product categories. The role focuses on driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction by curating the right product mix, promotional strategies, pricing, and supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales, profit, and income goals through strategic category planning
- Develop customer-focused product assortments and compelling promotional campaigns
- Design planograms and placement strategies to influence shopper behavior
- Implement competitive pricing and robust private label programs
- Build strong supplier and OEM partnerships to maximize terms, discounts, and performance
- Lead the full product development cycle: from curation and design to freight and quality control
- Maintain stock health and minimize shrinkage via disciplined inventory practices
- Support cross-functional collaboration across regional business units and stores
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
- Experience in a customer-centric industry with solid merchandising, marketing, and category management skills
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic mindset, and hands-on operational capabilities
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
