- Manage the assigned product category, including pricing, promotion planning, and product assortment strategy.
- Execute and implement category programs and strategic plans in line with budgetary goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Category Manager and team members to conduct regular retail audits and implement planogram strategies to drive sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and category reports for assigned brands, including segment-specific insights.
- Coordinate and execute launch plans for assigned brands, ensuring timely market readiness.
- Support market research initiatives by coordinating activities and preparing briefing materials.
- Adapt marketing strategies and materials to effectively reach and engage new target markets.
- Ensure an optimized product assortment per brand, aligned with linear productivity benchmarks set for the category.
- Partner with the supply chain team to meet stockholding KPIs and ensure inventory availability aligns with sales and promotional timelines.
- Review inventory status regularly and propose action plans for overstocked or discontinued SKUs.
- Ensure timely deliveries in coordination with Supply Chain to support product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor inventory levels across multiple product categories, ensuring accuracy and availability.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in a supply chain or category management role, preferably within the FMCG or retail industry.
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation, or delivery operations is preferred.
- Prior involvement in planning and product/project management, ideally in an MNC or fast-paced work environment.
- Experience in the prestige beauty or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of business operations, processes, and strategic planning.
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Highly numerate, meticulous, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
