You will play a pivotal role in shaping Asahi's strategic direction across its global raw materials portfolio. You will lead the development and execution of category strategies that enhance value, strengthen supply resilience, and support Asahi's long-term sustainability ambitions.
You will drive sourcing excellence, innovation, and responsible procurement practices across key raw materials used in brewing and beverage production. As part of the newly formed Global Procurement Office, you will help establish a world-class, future-ready procurement function that creates measurable value for the business, our suppliers, and our communities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of global category strategies across critical raw materials to optimise value, sustainability, quality, and security of supply.
- Drive sustainable procurement and innovation initiatives aligned with Asahi's global sustainability roadmap, responsible sourcing commitments, and environmental targets.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure performance, quality assurance, transparency, and continuous improvement across raw material supply chains.
- Oversee strategic sourcing activities, including market analysis, negotiations, contracting, and risk mitigation to safeguard supply and enhance commercial outcomes.
- Partner with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to align business needs, share best practices, and build strong global collaboration across markets.
- Implement governance, compliance, and risk-management frameworks to protect brand reputation and ensure ethical, traceable, and compliant sourcing practices.
- Manage category budgets, KPIs, and value delivery metrics to achieve strong commercial and sustainability performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop procurement talent, fostering capability growth and a high-performance culture across the global procurement organisation.
About you
- University degree in Business or related field (Master's preferred).
- Extensive experience in procurement and category management within raw materials.
- Strong leadership experience in an international multinational company
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and supplier collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and environmental impact.
- Experience with procurement platform SAP Ariba highly regarded and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Fluent in English additional languages are a plus.
