Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire carpentry production process, from material procurement to finished product.
- Develop and implement production schedules and ensure they are met.
- Supervise carpentry teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure that all carpentry work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Enforce and maintain safety protocols and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Optimise production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Material Management:
- Oversee the procurement and storage of carpentry materials.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure materials are readily available.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree or practical experience in carpenter management.
- Technical expertise and strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and resolve production issues and quality problems.
- Ability to identify, plan and manage production schedules and materials processes.
