Job Summary
You will read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements, measure and calculate material needs, cut and shape lumber, assemble and install furniture and fixtures, inspect and repair installations, and operate machinery efficiently to complete tasks on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand detailed project requirements
- Take accurate measurements and calculate material sizes and quantities needed for tasks
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials precisely according to measurements
- Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items for installation
- Install assembled items securely at designated locations
- Inspect work sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed to ensure quality
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently to support production
- Complete assigned tasks within specified timelines while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all work performed
