Job Title: Carpenter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction, woodworking, and installation, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. You will be responsible for building, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications

• Construct and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures (e.g., doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, flooring)

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches

• Inspect and replace damaged framework or structures

• Ensure accuracy, level, and alignment of installations

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

• Collaborate with other construction professionals such as contractors, electricians, and plumbers

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role

• Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment

• Ability to read technical documents and drawings

• Strong mathematical and measurement skills

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

• Relevant certification or apprenticeship (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in residential and/or commercial construction

• Familiarity with modern carpentry techniques and materials

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Conditions:

• On-site work at construction locations

• May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoors

• Requires physical labor and extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting
