Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Carpenter to oversee and execute carpentry works with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to deliver high quality workmanship across residential, commercial, or custom projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced carpentry tasks including fabricating, installing, and repairing wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings to meet project specifications
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately to guide carpentry work
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision to ensure quality and fit
- Lead and supervise junior carpenters and workers to maintain productivity and workmanship standards
- Inspect completed carpentry work and make necessary adjustments to meet quality and safety standards
- Install cabinetry, furniture, doors, partitions, and other carpentry components according to project requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and good working condition
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on site to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion
- Ensure all carpentry work complies with workplace safety regulations and project timelines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Carpentry certification or trade qualification
- Experience working on high-end or custom carpentry projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
