Job Summary
Perform skilled carpentry tasks including reading project drawings, taking site measurements, cutting and constructing wood renovations, and installing at project sites. Collaborate with designers and owners during site meetings and communicate effectively in English or Mandarin.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret project drawings accurately to guide carpentry work
- Take precise measurements at project sites to ensure correct material sizing
- Cut and construct wood renovations according to project drawings to meet design specifications
- Install wood structures and renovations at project sites to complete projects on schedule
- Attend site meetings with designers and owners to clarify project requirements and progress
- Communicate clearly in English or Mandarin to coordinate tasks and report updates
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a skilled, independent carpenter
