Job Description

The Client

Our client begun their business with a container port and handled their first large cargo ship back in the 1970s. With decades in the industry since, they've grew and reached the 5-million TEU mark by achieving Singapore to be the world's largest container port.

The successful applicant will join the Cargo Solutions Commercial Department to help the organization to widen their existing customer base to other supply chain stakeholders, source for new business opportunities from logistics service providers and shippers, and develop new supply chain solutions to strengthen the hub capabilities in Southeast Asia.

Job Descriptions:

  • Establish and maintain network with cargo owners, logistics service providers and government agencies.
  • Design pricing strategies for different products, which can be Singapore-centric or with a regional focus across SEA borders.
  • Negotiate proposals with customers.
  • Identify opportunities for synergizing physical solutions with CALISTA's digital initiatives.
  • Gather market intel on trade / market / competitor updates.
  • Organize events for customer relationship management.
  • Work with legal team to draft legal documents and facilitate signing of contracts with customers.

The Ideal Profile:

Minimum Degree in any discipline with 3 years and above of experience in 3PL/Freight Forwarding business account management, and a proven performance driven personality.
