We are always looking for great talent to join our team and currently is looking for a Cargo Country Sales Manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Cargo Team in Malaysiafor AVIAREPS client/clients.
- Lead business development and sales efforts on behalf of contracted airlines to gain incremental air cargo tonnage and revenues, delivering to agreed budgets and financial plans
- Lead a small team of call centre agents responsible for reservations and customer services for assigned airline portfolio.
- Be a leader in knowledge of specialised product segments such as Pharmaceutical, Outsize, Express, Dangerous Goods or Live Animals, in compliance with IATA standards.
- Plan and deliver sales calls to the highest standards, through good planning and preparation of calls, including agendas, objectives.
- Lead commercial strategy for the assigned country, maximising sales for current airline customers but also looking at building contracted airline portfolio for cargo.
- Ensure we make use of all data available to drive strategic decision making and incremental sales.
- Ensure effective internal and external communication is maintained with peers and management.
- Complete weekly/monthly reports - as agreed with management processes and ensure proactive contribution to team meetings.
Your Qualifications and Experiences
- Excellent Spoken and Written English
- Fluent (in Malay and Mandarin)
- Full Driving Licence
- Desired: Experience selling Air Cargo or Logistics solutions to customers
- Desired: Experience managing a team in air cargo or logistics field
- Experience in managing conflicting and changing demands of a high-pressure working environment.
- Experience managing a multi-disciplined team, possibly across different geographical settlings and backgrounds.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively within a commercial setting, both in writing and verbally.
- Experience establishing and developing strong customer relationships.
- Proficient user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good analytical acumen with ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret financial and business data.
- Flexible approach to working & willing to travel.
