Job Title: Cargo Officer / Bunker Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cargo Officer / Bunker Clerk to support safe and efficient bunker tanker operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate cargo handling, compliance with bunkering standards, and smooth vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support bunker cargo operations onboard bunker tankers
- Ensure compliance with bunkering procedures and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation related to cargo and bunkering activities
- Coordinate with vessel crew for smooth operational execution
- Monitor and support mass flow metering processes during bunkering
- Ensure adherence to company and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Bunker Clerk or Cargo Officer onboard bunker tankers
- Certification in Basic & Advanced Course on Bunkering Practices (SS600 & TR 48)
- Certification in Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS 648:2024)
- Willingness to work onboard vessel on shift rotation duties
- Strong communication skills
- Meticulous, responsible, and strong follow-through mindset
- Open to Singapore Citizens / Singapore PRs only
