Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Cargo Loader & Driver Assistant. In addition to supporting drivers during deliveries, the role will also include assisting the Storeman in day-to-day warehouse duties such as stock handling and inventory support.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Assist drivers during delivery trips, including handling cargo and liaising with customers when required.
- Provide support to the Storeman in storekeeping tasks, including stock arrangement, packing, and inventory checks.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods in the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to perform manual loading/unloading work.
- Willingness to accompany drivers for deliveries.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse/store operations an advantage.
- Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or delivery support preferred but not essential.
- 5.5 work week
