Career Development Program - Executive, Asia Oceania (Global HQ)

ONE Career Development Program (ONE CDP) was conceptualized with this aim of bringing talents onboard ONE as Liner Business Generalists where they will be developed to learn the intricacies of the business through job rotation among different departments and offices globally.

Successful candidates are required to be functionally and geographically mobile.

As part of ONE CDP Singapore, we are now hiring an Executive for Asia Oceania, who will then be further rotated.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with space controllers to obtain forecast from loading offices with the aim for full vessel load and maximize gross yield
• Optimize space on all legs (multi-dipping)
• Oversee and coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders on daily and tender/bid pricing
• Organize regular meetings with front offices to update performance/market information to formulate aligned and unified marketing strategy
• Utilize and optimize digitalization systems (such as OQ, Tiger, Looker, Servicenow, AP, Eagle X etc) to maximize yield and load factor of West Asia services
• Participate in ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business or relevant discipline
• At least 2 - 3 years of work experience (preferably in logistics or shipping)
• Strong in MS Suite, Google Suite including formulas, pivot tables and Powerpoint presentaions)
• Fast thinker with analytical skills and meticulous
• Can-do attitude to take on challenges
• Good communications skills to collaborate with stakeholders from different regions
