- Title: Cardiologist (Remote)
- Engagement: Hourly contract (independent contractor)
- RATE: USD 300-400/Hour
- Location: Remote candidates based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia who are legally able to work as independent contractors in their jurisdiction.
Job Overview
One of our clients, a leading AI research lab, is seeking fellowship-trained cardiologists to contribute to a project evaluating the ability of large language models to interpret advanced, real-world ECG/EKG cases. Cardiologists across all subspecialties are encouraged to apply, with particular interest in experts in Electrophysiology and Clinical Cardiology.
Qualifications
You're a good fit if you have:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of a cardiology fellowship (any subspecialty)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- 2+ years of post-training clinical experience
- Current residence in the United States
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strongly preferred:
- Fellowship training in Electrophysiology
- Primary clinical practice with significant ECG interpretation volume
- Academic or teaching experience (residents, fellows, conferences)
- Experience creating case-based assessments, exam questions, or rubrics
- Background in complex arrhythmia diagnosis, conduction abnormalities, or subtle ECG pattern recognition
Key Responsibilities
- Develop gold-standard ECG interpretations with clear diagnostic reasoning
- Emphasize edge cases, nuanced differentials, and complex reasoning in ECG analysis
- Collaborate directly with research teams at a leading AI lab
- Provide feedback on common failure modes in AI model reasoning

Contract and Payment Terms
- Engagement as an independent contractor
- Fully remote role, with flexible scheduling

- Payments are weekly via Stripe or Wise based on hours worked
