Responsibilities:
- Provides haemodynamics monitoring support for coronary angiography, angioplasty, and other interventional radiological procedures.
- Performs Electrophysiology (EPS) studies in collaboration with cardiologists.
- Assists in post-catheterisation care of patients.
- Assists in code blue procedures in the cardiovascular laboratory.
- Performs ECGs, newborn hearing screenings, and other non-radiation procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department (DID)/Cardio-Vascular Laboratory (CVL).
- Assists in portering, preparing, and positioning patients for procedures.
- Provides administrative support within the DID and CVL departments.
- Provides on-call coverage for emergency CVL procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology/Physiology) or Diploma in Medical Technology (Cardiac Technology) / Biotechnology / Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
- Experience in Electrophysiology (EPS) studies.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Experience in Haemodynamics monitoring within an invasive laboratory.
- 5.5-day work week (42 hours per week).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- AHPC registered.
