About the Role
We are looking for a Car Accessories Engineer / Installation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, configuring and servicing automotive accessories and in-car electronics.
This is a hands-on position suitable for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, electronics and automotive technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure automotive accessories and electronic systems.
- Install Android head units, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems.
- Install dashcams, reverse cameras, parking sensors and other vehicle accessories.
- Perform wiring, electrical connections and basic automotive troubleshooting.
- Diagnose installation issues and resolve electrical/electronic problems.
- Configure CANBUS and vehicle integration systems where required.
- Carry out testing after installation to ensure all functions operate correctly.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure installations are neat and reliable.
- Perform product testing, quality checks and troubleshooting.
- Communicate with customers to understand installation requirements.
- Provide basic technical advice and explain product functions to customers.
- Assist with product research and evaluation of new automotive accessories.
- Maintain tools, equipment and the workshop in good condition.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and proper installation practices.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in car accessories, automotive electronics, vehicle wiring or automotive engineering.
- Practical experience installing car audio, Android players, dashcams, cameras or other automotive electronics is an advantage.
- Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems and wiring.
- Able to read and understand basic wiring diagrams.
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Able to use hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Good attention to detail and workmanship.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn new automotive technologies.

Candidates with relevant experience in Johor Bahru or Singapore automotive workshops are welcome.
