About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Campaign Manager to work on innovative new products and campaigns within the Environmental Care Business Unit.
Reporting to the Senior Campaigns Manager within the EC BU. This role is a blend of both campaign delivery and copywriting and allows for full ownership of how we talk about Dyson's innovative products within the category.
You'll translate complex ideas into simple, engaging language that helps customers understand, desire, and choose our products and you'll be responsible for creating effective campaign briefs by consolidating feedback and insights for the Global Creative team, leading the Brand360 process to deliver campaigns to local markets, and coordinating commercial and consumer data.
Key Responsibilities
Copy creation and support
- Ability to understand technical product details and translate into a consumer narrative
- Develop clear product messaging that balances benefits, storytelling, and accuracy
- Own the delivery of product copy for key product items like packaging, product FAQ's, retail training guides and online user guides.
- Create the centralised copy bank for NPD projects, guiding downstream teams on application within other channels
- Proofread and fact check copy and articles generated outside of the BU by other supporting channels.
- Work within brand voice, style guidelines, and legal requirements
- Manage feedback from multiple stakeholders and refine copy through review rounds.
- Receive briefs as part of the brand 360 process, where copy support is requested as part of key delivery milestones
Campaign development and delivery
- Create effective campaign briefs for creative and channel teams, taking information from the product, local markets, and previous launch learnings
- Own the original kick-off brief for the Brand360 process, as well as individual channel briefs where required
- Full 360 campaign consideration, reviews, approvals and delivery – digital, social, retail, demonstrations, TV, OOH, post-purchase, CRM, Comms
- Delivery a strong campaign kit for each project which gives markets all they need to execute successfully
- Lead the cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns to markets on time, to brief, and to cost – in partnership with Programme Management – raising risks where required and finding solutions
- Understand the product and technology, and gather consumer, market, and competitor data to make campaigns and copy as strong as possible
Cross-functional leadership
- Be the key point of contact within the EC BU and commercial voice for copy. Leading across the business on how other cross functional teams need to represent products in digital, campaign and social copy.
- Build strong relationships across a vast range of stakeholders – becoming the go-to-person for your projects (you will be the hub)
- Monitor and challenge markets where necessary where there is miss-alignment on copy within digital channels
- Review market launch plans and partner with them to ensure a consistent and high level of global execution, facilitating global sharing where value-adding
Collaboration and reporting
- Work closely with NPI and Engineering teams to understand product details and key benefits
- Push channels and creative teams to achieve brief objectives and best in class execution
- Track and report on campaign effectiveness
- Consult and collaborate with IP and legal to ensure all copy is compliant
About you
- Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or similar role
- Passion for marketing and campaigns, as well as interest in product and technology
- Passion for copywriting and bringing technology to life.
- Organised and collaborative, able to build relationships cross-functionally
- Clear communication and strong story-telling affinity
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive and problem-solving approach, positive energy
