As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing calibration, testing, and verification of equipment and instruments in the areas of dimensions, mass, force, and torque. The role ensures adherence to strict quality and regulatory standards to maintain precision and accuracy in measurements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform calibration and verification of measuring instruments and devices related to dimensions, mass, force, and torque in laboratory or client site as required.
- Operate and maintain precision instruments, including micrometers, weights, force gauges, torque testers, and dimensional tools etc.
- Conduct routine testing and quality checks on lab equipment.
- Prepare detailed calibration certificates and reports in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure traceability to national or international standards.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of calibration equipment and the lab environment.
- Troubleshoot, repair and adjust instruments as necessary to meet calibration specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with all relevant quality management systems.
- Stay updated on industry standards and methodologies related to calibration.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and other team members to meet customer requirements.
