Golden Goose is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Café Supervisor! This role will lead shift when required to do so, opening and closing the store to the standard required.

Main Responsibilities:

• To lead shifts when assigned by the store Manager, taking responsibility for delivering brand standards in:
• Cash management
• Opening the store/preparing for the shift to brand standard
• Closing the store/completing the shift to brand standard
• ordering consumables/food
• Monitoring/delivering service to brand standard
• Accepting deliveries
• To perform all tasks as defined in the Barista & Head Barista Job Description
• As the shift manager on shift, take responsibility for checking the quality of the espresso by accurately measuring & recording the grind & dose
• As the shift manager on shift, ensure that all drinks are made & served to brand standard
• Support team throughout shifts to ensure the delivery of Costa brand standards
• To ensure that all coffee equipment is in good working order, report any faults to store manager and being aware of maintenance schedules
• Understand the store KPI and how the measures can be impacted by themselves & the team performance
• To undertake the daily Health & safety/Food safety walk round taking action/reporting issues-as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cafe or food service industry.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to handle cash and use point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Flexibility in working shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for coffee and food is a plus.
