About the Role L'eclair Cafe is looking for a friendly and reliable permanent part-time Service Crew member to join our front-of-house team.
Ideal for students, homemakers, or retirees looking for a consistent, regular schedule in a warm café environment.
Operating Hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm
What You'll Do
- Guest service: Welcome guests, take orders, make recommendations, and handle enquiries (in-person & phone)
- Order prep: Toast pies, assemble salads, and assist with drinks preparation
- Floor support: Run food/drinks, clear & reset tables
- Cashiering: Operate the POS and assist with payments when required
- Back-of-house assist: Wash simple dishes and follow opening/closing checklists
- Standards: Follow hygiene, allergen, and safety procedures keep work areas clean
What You'll Bring
- Warm, positive attitude willing to learn and a strong team player
- Good communication skills and basic numeracy for POS/cash handling
- Reliable timekeeping and ability to stay calm during rush periods
- Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
Nice to Have
- Barista experience (we'll train if you're keen!)
- Basic Food Hygiene / Food Safety Level 1 certification
