Job Summary
Our front-of-house crew delivers excellent customer service and hospitality, ensuring guests feel comfortable and satisfied throughout their visit. This role suits a team player passionate about the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly and efficient customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Provide accurate menu recommendations to assist customers in their choices
- Process customer orders accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system
- Ensure timely preparation and serving of all menu items during service periods
- Set and clear tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment
- Support the shift manager in planning and organizing special events
- Communicate customer feedback promptly to the shift manager for resolution
- Adhere strictly to food and beverage safety and hygiene standards during all tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager to support café operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in the food & beverage or retail industry
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and team members
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team player with a friendly and approachable attitude
- High initiative and positive attitude to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required
- Commitment to a 5-day work week schedule
