Our Client is a well established Engineering Consultancy firm who urgently requires a CAD Drafter (Building Services):
Roles & Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the planning, coordinating, quality and timely completion of engineering drawings:
- To prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD based on sketches etc.
- Ability to use 3D software will be an advantage.
- To interpret engineering & arch. drawings, design specifications, etc.
- To develop layout plans, sections for ACMV, Fire Protection, etc.
- Those with experience in P&FM drawings will be an advantage.
- To ensure drawings comply with Codes of Practice, Fire Code, etc.
- To maintain organized drawing files and documentation.
- To perform calculations to support design accuracy.
- To check drawings for completeness, qualitybefore submission to Corenet, etc.
- To support project timelines by meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Occasionally to generate BoQ (Bills of Quantities) from drawings.
- To conduct site visits to verify measurements and site conditions.
- Self motivated, have good interpersonal skills.
