CAD-CAM Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD/CAM Engineer tojoin our production team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and manufacturing, transforming customer requirements into high-quality CAD designs and efficient manufacturing programs (CNC).

Key Responsibilities:

. Design & Modelling: Create detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings, 3D models, and assemblies for mechanical components using software like [Mastercam/NX/SolidWorks].

. CAM Programming: Generate optimized NC programs for 3-axis/5-axis CNC machines, selecting appropriate tools and feeds/speeds.

. Production Support: Review customer-supplied data for accuracy, ensuring manufacturability and providing technical support to the machine shop floor.

. Tooling & Fixturing: Design and maintain jigs, fixtures, and tooling required for production.

. Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to reduce costs and improve quality.

. Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of models, drawings, and CAM programs.

Requirements:

. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

. years of experience in CAD/CAM programming and CNC machining.

. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, SolidWorks,Autodesk Fusion).

. Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes (Milling/Turning).

. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and GD&T.

. Problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail.
