Job description
We are partnering with a leading hedge fund to hire a C++ Software Engineer to join their high-impact data platform team. This team builds scalable, service-based infrastructure that enables fast and reliable access to large volumes of data used for trading and research.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science
- 4+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on C++ skills
- Experience in microservices architecture or concurrent / asynchronous system design
- Familiarity with Linux environment
- Experience handling large datasets and working with highly available distributed systems
- Knowledge of SQL databases and data serialization formats
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Google Cloud or AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes is beneficial
- Proficiency in additional programming languages like Rust, Python, or Q is an advantage
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with different stakeholders
