Job Summary
Lead and supervise civil and structural engineering activities on-site for a 2-storey F&B building, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements while proactively managing risks and resolving issues.
Responsibilities
- Supervise civil and structural engineering works on-site for a 2-storey building project to ensure project milestones are met
- Enforce rigorous safety standards on-site to maintain a safe working environment and prevent incidents
- Monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and problems during construction to minimize project delays and cost overruns
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve site-related issues
Required competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Certified Resident Engineer by the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC), Singapore
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Engineer in civil and structural engineering projects
- Demonstrate integrity, initiative, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and trust on-site
