Software Engineers here work on complex, performance-critical systems, tackling challenges across low-latency programming, hardware acceleration, and large-scale distributed systems. The focus is on building highly efficient, scalable platforms that operate at the limits of speed and reliability.

Day-to-day:

• Design and build components of a high-frequency trading platform, including market data ingestion and order execution systems
• Optimise system performance using advanced network and systems programming techniques to minimise latency
• Develop infrastructure for accessing and analysing historical market data and running trading simulations
• Create tools to identify patterns and insights from large datasets
• Build and enhance risk management and performance monitoring systems

A little bit about you:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Years of experience in C++ development, ideally within a performance-critical or trading environment
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Linux systems and low-level networking (TCP/IP, UDP)
• Familiarity with Python and shell scripting desirable but not essential
