Responsibilities
Purchasing and Order Processing
- Execute end-to-end purchasing activities including RFQs, price comparison, PO creation, order tracking, and delivery follow-up.
- Work closely with suppliers to confirm orders, expedite shipments, and resolve delays.
- Source and procure electronic components such as passives, integrated circuits, memory, CPU, storage.
Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with existing suppliers on quotations, delivery schedules, and quality-related issues.
- Identify and qualify new potential suppliers.
- Maintain strong working relationships to support consistent supply performance.
- Assist in evaluating suppliers through performance tracking (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness).
Documentation Management
- Maintain updated purchasing records, and supplier databases.
- Support cost comparison, invoice matching, and reconciliation with finance.
- Ensure all procurement documents comply with internal procedures and ISO requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 6 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in purchasing electronic components and commodities.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have regional experience.
