Buyer / Purchaser

Job Responsibilities

• Manage commodities in consumables/ MRO/ spares parts/ assigned projects
• Sourcing ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS and Negotiate with suppliers for price, delivery and quality requirements
• Issue Purchase Order and follow up with delivery
• Work closely with Project Team and Manager to expedite and complete tasks on-time
• Ensure compliance to Company Procurement Strategy and Policies
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder with relevant qualifications (electronics, manufacturing)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience as Electronics Buyer is a must
• Knowledge of commonly used business software (MYOB, Microsoft Office)
• Negotiation skills, contract management, and basic knowledge in shipping terms
• Good attitude and can handle work with tight deadline
