Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser / Procurement Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, procurement, vendor management, price negotiation, inventory planning, and logistics coordination for IT products, components, peripherals, and industrial computing solutions.

This role requires strong sourcing capabilities, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work closely with local and overseas suppliers to ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

  • Source and procure IT products, computer components, peripherals, industrial hardware, networking products, storage devices, and related accessories.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and ensure timely order processing.
  • Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and shipment commitments.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.

Supplier Sourcing & Vendor Management

  • Conduct local and international supplier sourcing to identify competitive suppliers and alternative sourcing channels.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
  • Perform supplier evaluation and vendor performance assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations and recommend cost-effective procurement decisions.

E-Commerce & Online Procurement

  • Source products through online procurement channels and marketplaces.
  • Familiar with procurement through platforms such as: Amazon, Lazada, Taobao, AliExpress, Alibaba and other global sourcing platforms
  • Compare pricing, shipping options, lead times, and supplier credibility to optimize purchasing decisions.

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and shipping agents for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Arrange local and overseas shipments, including consolidation (console) shipments.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve shipping issues.
  • Understand shipping terms and trade conditions including Incoterms such as EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, and DAP.

Inventory & Planning

  • Support inventory planning and replenishment activities.
  • Monitor stock levels and recommend purchasing actions to avoid stock shortages.
  • Assist in forecasting demand and planning procurement schedules.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.

Quality & Compliance

  • Support ISO 9001 quality management requirements related to procurement processes.
  • Maintain procurement records in compliance with ISO procedures.
  • Ensure purchased products meet quality and specification requirements

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Electronics, IT, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 4 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
  • Experience in purchasing IT products, computer hardware, networking equipment, electronic components, industrial computers, or technology-related products is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with: UBS Accounting Software, Auto-Count Accounting Software, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis), Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with procurement documentation and purchasing workflows.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and procurement planning.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in sourcing IT components such as CPUs, memory modules, SSDs, HDDs, industrial PCs, servers, networking products, display systems, and embedded computing products.
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers from China, Taiwan, Europe, and the United States.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
  • Experience in procurement cost reduction initiatives and supplier performance management.
