We are seeking a strategic and resultsoriented Business Transformation & Strategy Manager to drive enterprise-wide initiatives and support our growing team.
Position Overview:
The Business Transformation & Strategy Manager supports the COO Office at Singapore GasCo, driving enterprise-wide initiatives in business process optimisation, project governance, and strategic execution across the organisation. It focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening control frameworks, and delivering cross-functional initiatives.
This role will take on immediate responsibility for ETRM implementation and delivery, while contributing to broader transformation, digitalisation, and enterprise initiatives across the organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Transformation & Project Management Office (PMO)
- Lead enterprise-wide process reviews and redesign initiatives across commercial, operational, and corporate functions to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risk areas, and implement scalable improvements aligned to business priorities
- Act as the central PMO coordinator for enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring priorities are tracked, and delivery outcomes are met, including development of dashboards and materials for senior management and Board stakeholders
- Primary ownership of the implementation and delivery of GasCo's ETRM system, including planning, tracking, coordinating user requirement gathering, process alignment, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management activities; ensuring successful adoption and roll-out of the ETRM system
- Lead GasCo's pipeline of digitalisation and workflow optimisation initiatives, including automation, data and AI transformation projects; acting as a bridge between business, IT and external vendors to deliver practical and scalable solutions
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and governance frameworks to support operational resilience
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation, with clear ownership and measurable outcomes
COO Office & Strategic Support
- Support the COO in driving enterprise priorities, strategic initiatives, and performance tracking – this includes preparation of high-quality briefings, presentations and position documents
- Coordinate regulatory affairs and government stakeholder interactions, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of information
- Support corporate strategy development as required – including market assessment, business case development, and strategic option papers for Board or Senior Management consideration
- Assist in the development and monitoring of corporate KPIs and strategic milestones, linking execution to business outcomes
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in business transformation, project management, operations, or consulting; prior experience in energy or commodities trading would be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of business process design, operational workflows, and governance frameworks, exposure to data, AI, process automation, or digitalisation initiatives is a plus
- Direct experience with ETRM, CTRM, or comparable commodity or financial systems implementation, including user requirement gathering, UAT coordination and vendor management
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and reporting tools, including creation of management dashboards for progress and status updates
- Understanding of trade lifecycle concepts in a commodities trading environment is highly advantageous
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including financial modelling
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and comfortable working in ambiguous, evolving environment
