This high-visibility governance opportunity focuses on managing third-party risk, ensuring regulatory outsourcing compliance, and safeguarding data quality across external partner networks.

• Mitigate outsourcing and third-party operational risk by evaluating supplier compliance and aggressively enforcing contractual commitments and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Serve as the critical risk and governance bridge between internal business activity owners (BAOs) and technical suppliers to ensure operational requirements are translated with high data integrity.

• Protect corporate data confidentiality and quality by ensuring all vendor solutions adhere to global information security frameworks and data governance standards prior to deployment.

• Maintain the institutional third-party vendor risk register, tracking compliance metrics and governing documentation across the outsourced supplier network.

• Formulate risk-mitigation insights to brief senior management and executive sponsors on vendor performance anomalies and contractual compliance exposures.

Skills and experience required

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Risk Governance, Technology Risk, or IT Internal Audit.

• Proven track record in first-line-of-defense (1LOD) risk control, outsourcing risk governance, or contract risk management within a highly regulated sector like insurance, reinsurance, or banking.

• Strong practical knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MAS Outsourcing Requirements, OSPAR certifications, or technology risk management (TRM) principles.

• Foundational technical baseline (such as a Degree or Diploma in Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a CISA certification) allowing you to confidently review functional scopes and validate vendor solutions.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the commercial gravitas to challenge vendor underperformance and manage multi-functional interfaces across Risk, Legal, and Business units.
