I. Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, analytical, and detail-oriented Intern to support our Southeast Asia & Pakistan team in executing impactful initiatives that drive business growth. This role offers hands-on experience in market intelligence collection, trade and retail marketing, pricing strategy, and campaign execution, providing exposure to a wide range of commercial activities.
II. Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence & Growth Identification
- Collect and analyze market intelligence on key sales channels across SEA & Pakistan.
- Identify sources of growth in new geographies and customer segments by studying in-market sales data.
- Support competitor benchmarking, including market share, pricing, and promotional trends.
- Support the development of a pricing index across SEA & Pakistan, benchmarking embectas pricing vs. competitors in retail and hospital channels.
- Retail & Trade Marketing Execution
- Support the creation of trade marketing programs to drive retail and pharmacy penetration.
- Assist in developing point-of-sale materials, promotions, and in-store displays to enhance brand presence.
- Work with marketing, sales team, distributors and retail partners to execute marketing activations and merchandising strategies.
- Assist in execution of Brand Transition
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of trade and retail marketing campaigns.

- Perform administrative tasks to support the marketing team as required.
- Roll up countries information/data at SEA & Pakistan cluster level
V. INTERACTION
- Internal parties:
- Interact with all levels of staff in the respective country
- Interact with counterparts from the Asia and Southeast Asia marketing team
- Interact with the local Leadership Team of Southeast Asia
- External parties:
- Interact with customers, distributors, creative and research agencies, and professional organizations
VI. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, Power BI, or other data tools.
- Some experience or coursework in market research, pricing analysis, or business intelligence is a plus.
- A keen interest in retail and trade marketing, with the ability to work on activations and merchandising strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, and with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
