Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated Business Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum and examination board requirements.
Teach Business Studies at IGCSE and (A-Level ).
Assess, record, and report on the progress of students, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum and department resources.
Participate in departmental and whole school CPD, meetings, and events.
Support students through enrichment activities, interventions, and extra-curricular opportunities.
Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
Essential:
A Masters degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject.
Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the curriculum.
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Desirable:
Experience teaching A-Level or vocational Business qualifications (e.g., BTEC).
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and blended learning strategies.
Willingness to take part in wider school life and leadership opportunities.
