About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and business-minded Business Strategy Associate to join our APAC Strategy & Operations team. This role will be responsible for driving core analytical work in strategy development, business performance analysis, and market research across the APAC region.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of APAC's mid- to long-term strategy, including industry trend studies and competitive landscape analysis.
- Design and drive key strategic initiatives from concept to execution.
- Build and refine the business performance analysis framework for the APAC region.
- Track and analyze key business metrics, identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver actionable insights to guide business and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare high-quality strategic reports, business analysis papers, and recommendations for senior management.
- Participate in leadership meetings and discussions, providing data-backed insights.
Requirements
- 35 years working experience in strategy / business analytics / operations strategy teams in large internet or financial companies, with relevant experience in business performance analysis.
- Proven ability to independently complete business or operational analysis tasks (e.g., identifying causes of metric fluctuations and proposing improvement actions).
- Experience conducting market research and translating findings into actionable business insights.
- Experience contributing to strategic planning
- Strong ability to define, structure, and solve complex business problems.
