BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager to manage our Investor Business related portfolio like fund finance and fund investment. The incumbent will report to the Head of Investor Business Department and will be responsible for marketing, business development, relationship management and risk management for new and existing clients for fund finance such as subscription finance and NAV finance, and fund investment in Asia-Pacific region. He/she will be responsible for identifying, researching and recommending credit business opportunities and fund investment opportunities, developing market contracts and facilitating business transactions for the Bank. He/she is required to perform credit evaluation and fund performance monitoring which includes preparation of credit/investment proposals, credit/investment applications, reviews and reports in both English and Japanese for submission to the Head Office. He/she will also need to manage and strengthen customer relationships and portfolio risk management.

Applicants should possess a degree in Economics, Accountancy or Business Administration with about 10 years experience in corporate banking and/or investor business sectors. The incumbent needs to be familiar and have a good understanding of the business culture and process of Japanese organizations. The nature of the job will require him/her to be highly proficient in the Japanese Language, both spoken and written as there will be regular communication with the Head Office in Japan. He/she must also possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Overseas travel may be required.

Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
