Project Manager is responsible for delivering the project on time, on budget, within scope, and within agreed quality standards.
The key responsibilities are:
Manage the project to accomplish the goals, objectives, and success criteria identified and agreed to in the Project Charter
Understands and utilizes the DePICT®methodology and tools to manage the project life-cycle
Understands the customer's business needs and how the project relates to it
Leads the project team mentors individual project team members
Works with the project team to ensure there is a single integrated plan for the delivery of the project that is agreed, realistic and achievable
Identifies and allocates resources necessary to complete the project Clearly communicates project team roles and responsibilities
Manages and controls day-to-day aspects of the project including but not limited to the integrated project plan, resources, time, cost, scope and performance
Uses the scope change management process to manage all changes to the project
Develops and implements a communications plan for all stakeholders, including project status reporting.
Facilitates Risk Identification, Assessment, & Response. Leads the Project Team towards continuous risk management
Manages issues and escalates as appropriate
Ensures the quality and content of all project deliverables
Ensures that regular project team reviews of the status of plans, budgets, issues, risks and changes are conducted
Coordinates activities and deliverables for all workstreams, working closely with the work stream leaders to execute successfully
Ensures the project plan is base-lined to enable progress measurement against set criteria as well as impacts related to changes
Assists in acquiring resources
Works closely with, and advises, the Project Sponsor and Project Steering Committee (if one exists) Prepares periodic reports for the Steering Committee summarizing progress against the plan and any corrective actions needed to resolve deviations from plans
Develops, implements and sustains effective quality management guidelines for the project
Follows and is responsible for overall project governance
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field
Professional project management certification is a plus
Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics/supply chain and project management
Ability to lead and manage a cross country, multicultural team
