Job Description

Job Title: BPO Manager – Fund Operations Overview

Oversees fund operations within a tech-enabled outsourcing model, integrating workflows, data, and reporting to deliver efficient and scalable mid- and back-office services, while embracing new technologies and automation to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage end-to-end fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, transfers ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Coordinate portfolio and investment data capture, validation, and reconciliation (L1/L2/L3 where applicable)
  • Support NAV cycles, investor allocations, and reporting in collaboration with teams to prepare timely and accurate financial reports that meet client expectations
  • Review operational data accuracy prior to financial reporting, minimizing discrepancies and enhancing reliability of financial statements
  • Act as the point of contact for clients, maintaining proactive and clear communication on operational matters, onboarding, and ongoing service delivery
  • Engage regularly with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring issues are surfaced early and managed effectively
  • Define, standardize, and continuously improve operational processes and SOPs
  • Drive automation initiatives and collaborate with technology teams on system enhancements
  • Lead and manage teams under a maker-checker framework, including resource planning and training
  • Support audit processes and prepare audit reports
  • Track KPIs (turnaround time, accuracy, SLA adherence) and report performance
  • Drive continuous improvement, scalability, and operational efficiency across services

Requirements :

  • 6–10 years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, or BPO environment
  • Strong understanding of private equity / venture capital fund lifecycle
  • Proven ability in financial reporting, with experience in preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial statements and reports to client.
  • Experience managing teams and client-facing operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with fund systems, workflows, and multi-currency structures
  • Strong attention to detail with a control-oriented mindset
  • Proactive, communicative, and confident in engaging with clients
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be beneficial due to the need to support Mandarin-speaking clients
