Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery, data quality, controls and decision-making.
Coordinate operational and process-improvement initiatives from assessment through implementation and handover.
Develop process maps, procedures, business requirements, user guidance and project documentation.
Coordinate stakeholders, service providers and relevant specialist teams.
Track project timelines, risks, issues, dependencies and implementation outcomes.
Support testing, operational readiness, training, adoption and post-implementation reviews.
Assist with the adoption of approved business systems, digital tools and technology-enabled process improvements.
Support the maintenance of appropriate operational procedures, controls and records.
Contribute to continuous improvement across departments and locations.
Perform other duties reasonably related to the position and assigned according to evolving business needs.
Requirements
Relevant experience in business operations, process improvement, project coordination, change management, business analysis, management consulting or a related area.
Experience gathering requirements and documenting workflows, procedures or improvement recommendations.
Experience coordinating cross-functional projects or operational initiatives.
Strong stakeholder-management, communication and documentation skills.
Practical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
Experience in shipping, maritime operations, commodity trading or a related industry would be advantageous.
Experience supporting business-system or digital-tool adoption would be advantageous.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Willingness to travel to vessels, shipyards or other business locations when operationally required.
