Salt Talent Search is looking for a Business Partner Analyst for a 6 months extendable contract role
What Will You Do:
- Owns the procurement partnership for a specific product area, line of business, or function.
- Serves as the key liaison between Procurement and business teams to align strategies, priorities, and goals.
- Partners with category owners to provide demand insights that support effective category strategies.
- Analyzes historical trends, spend data, demand drivers, and forecast results to identify opportunities.
- Develops demand forecasts, new item forecasts, order points, and demand planning models.
- Builds and manages governance processes for demand management and stakeholder engagement.
- Drives global adoption of demand planning best practices while allowing flexibility for regional needs.
- Facilitates collaboration across Sales, Finance, Supply, Product, Engineering, Procurement, and business teams.
- Manages project planning, timelines, reporting, documentation, issue tracking, and working groups.
- Tracks progress against OKRs, business targets, and procurement goals.
- Identifies diverse stakeholder needs and designs solutions that support inclusive and effective outcomes.
- Shares knowledge, resources, and best practices with teammates and cross-functional partners.
What Will You Need:
- 5+ years of procurement knowledge and understanding of category management.
- Experience in demand planning, demand management, or supply planning.
- Ability to analyze spend, demand trends, financial data, and business performance.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business planning processes.
- Experience using business intelligence tools, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to develop forecasts, interpret data, and translate insights into action.
- Strategic thinking and agility to adapt plans based on business needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights clearly.
